How to complain
For regulated mortgages which relate to the property you live in there is a set process to follow.
First, you need to write to the company that sold you your mortgage and state why you feel you have a mortgage complaint. They need to investigate your complaint and will then either agree and offer you compensation or disagree and offer you nothing. You then have the opportunity for your claim to be assessed by the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).
